CruxVPN

What is a VPN?

We offer a Virtual Private Network Service (VPN) that encrypts your connection to the internet and your traffic to maximize the confidentiality of your communications and access to data, and privacy. We protect your connection against malicious actors that stand between you and the internet services you consume.

When navigating from a public internet access (such as a university, a cyber cafe, a company network) with a VPN, other users of that network will be unable to sniff your traffic as it will all be encrypted. This reduces your attack surface, avoids having your data read by users and administrators, and avoids having your sessions hijacked (including, but not limited to social media sessions, internet purchases, banking, emails, direct messaging). It is extremely important to have a VPN at all times when using public internet as even very young actors can easily listen to traffic on these networks.

When navigating from your internet service provider on your home network or mobile device (ISP) with a VPN, the ISP will be unable to collect your data and meta-data. ISPs collect, analyse and sell customer data and collaborate with Big Government and Big Tech on their agendas. By using CruxVPN, you can avoid avoid monitoring agreements such as the Five Eyes.

A VPN hides your IP Address from all men-in-the-middle and provides a new dynamic and anonymous IP Address to use when accessing data on the internet. We hold no personal data from our customers and we do not have any log of your network traffic. Should a court order mandate us to provide information, the information will not allow the requester to identify any individual customers. Unfortunately, other data outside of CruxVPN's remit may identify your internet activity and you would need extra sophisticated measures on top of having our VPN to be completely anonymous online. For example, disposable virtual machines and measures anti-finger-printing.

Routers can be compromised and by using CruxVPN you protect your internet activity from monitoring going through your router.

Bypassing censorship and services cancellations, we provide exists for internet traffic in several countries, including Switzerland, the USA, the UK, France and Germany, for you to access a service that is not allowed in your territory. You can use CruxVPN to "spoof" your geographic location.

By navigating with a VPN in a different country, you will have the internet experience of someone that is in that country. Internet content will in many cases be very different. A VPN helps you immerse yourself in a language you are learning, in local news and navigate the internet in a country within which you formerly lived in.

Internet content contains heavy advertisement nowadays. Through using CruxVPN, you can filter adverts improving the efficiency of your connection. Demonstrating a real-life use case of this, we offer parental controls to filter a large number of content providers known to be harmful to children.

Use CruxVPN to encrypt your internet traffic, improve your privacy, avoid surveillance and stay safe online.
